2020
Competed in three events at the March 6–7 Kim Duyst Invitational prior to the cancellation of the 2020 track & field season…Finished third in the discus (45.69m), 10th in the shot put (13.53m), and 35th in the hammer throw (22.17m).
 
Pre-Chico Days
Competed in the shot put and discus in 2019 for Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill…Finished 10th in the discus at the 2019 CCCAA Track & Field Championships…Began college career in 2016 playing football at Los Medanos College…A 2016 graduate of Pittsburg High School…Placed 11th in the discus at the 2016 State High School Track & Field Championships…Also lettered in football.

Born November 27, 1997, in Pittsburg…Son of Willie Grisby and Yolanda Castro…Has 11 brothers and sisters…Favorite instructor at Chico State is Jacob Jennings…Why he chose to attend Chico State: “It gave me a family feeling, but also because the coaches and staff are great”…The most interesting thing he’s ever done is put a race motor in a car…The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is bench press 315 pounds…Has learned by competing in track & field that “when things get tough, you fight and don’t quit on yourself”…Enjoys working on his project car when he has some free time…Majoring in business…Plans to one day start his own business.
