2011 XC All-CCAA (Finished 9th)
2011-2012: Placed ninth at the CCAA Championships as the Wildcats took ten of the top 11 spots in the race, earning All-CCAA honors.
2010-2011: Injuries prevented Linen from competing in the Fall…On the track, Linen recorded a season-best 1,500 in 4:00.
2009-2010: Injuries prevented a full cross country racing season…Only competition in uniform was a 36th place finish in the San Francisco State Invitational…Wrapped up the fall with a 32:36 10K at the Almond Bowl footrace…On the track, ran injury free and opened the season with a 14:54 in the 5K at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival…Dropped 5K PR time to 14:42 at the Chico Twilight Invitational, notching a third place finish…Posted fourth place finishes in the 1,500 meters and 5K events at the CCAA Championships, just missing All-CCAA honors…Concluded season with a 14:43 5K win at the Stanislaus Last Chance Invitational.
2008-2009: Injuries limited Linen’s freshman cross country season at Chico State…Opened the season with a 54th place finish at the Willamette Invitational…Followed up with a 29th place showing at the San Francisco State Invitational…On the track, posted a 14:45 run at the 5K distance, and a 3:58 1,500-meter PR…Finished seventh in the CCAA Championships 1,500-meter final…One week later recorded a season-ending 5K PR of 14:42 at the Occidental Invitational.
2007-2008: Redshirted both cross country and track as a freshman…Finished 16th overall at the Chico Invitational…Ran to a 74th place finish at the Stanford Invitational with a 25:33 8K PR…Placed 10th at the San Francisco State Invitational…Finished season with a 32:56 10K at the Almond Bowl footrace…On the Track, missed most of the 2008 season but did post a 1,500-meter PR of 4:05.
High School: A standout runner at Valencia HS…Finished second overall (14:38-3 mile) at the Orange County Championships during his senior year…Placed 13th at the State Cross Country Championships with a 15:32 5K PR…On the track, recorded PR’s of 1:57 (800 meters), 4:17 (1,600 meters) and 9:06 (3,200 meters).
