2011-2012: Earned All-American honors while placing 34th at the NCAA Championships...Placed sixth at the NCAA West Regionals, earning All-West Region honors...Placed third at the CCAA Championships behind teammates Adrian Sherrod and Isaac Chavez to earn All-CCAA honors.
2010-2011: Redshirted both sports as a true freshman…Placed third at the Doc Adams Invitational open race with a PR of 24:33…Finished 16th at the Willamette Invitational with a time of 24:46…Recorded a 14:59 5K time at a Chico time trial…On the track, placed sixth in the 10K at the USATF Junior Championships with a 31:18 effort…Recorded a 5K PR of 14:40 in the Chico Twilight Invitational to earn second place, making him the third fastest true freshman to run the event in school history…Ran a 31:10 10K at the San Francisco Distance Carnival…Recorded a 14:59 5K at the Ben Brown Invitational.
High School: Graduated from Roosevelt High School in Fresno, and is one of the most decorated athletes in school history…2009 CIF-Central Section D-III runner-up (15:31)…Followed with a ninth place finish at the 2009 California State Meet, tying his personal best time…Boasted prep track PRs of 4:23 in the 1,600 meters and 9:23 in the 3,200 meters.
