- Appeared in seven meets
- Saw action in the 1,500m, 5,000m, 10,000m and distance medley relay
- Won the 5,000m run at the CCAA Championships
- Set a new personal-best in the 1,500m at the CCAA Championships with a time of 3:53.32

As a Senior - XC (2022)
- Appeared in six meets
- Member of the CCAA Championship team
- Finished 76th at the NCAA Championships
- Placed eighth at the NCAA West Regionals
- Finished second behind teammate Rory Abberton at the CCAA Championships
- Best 8K time was 23:45.2 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational

As a Junior (2021–22)
- Placed 27th to open the cross country season September 10, 2021 at the San Francisco State Invitational with an 8k time of 25:51.6
- Finished 13th overall (8k time of 25:03.4) September 25, 2021 at the Cougar Challenge
- Recorded an 10k time of 32:32.1 and a 22nd place finish at the Western Washington Bill Roe Classic
- Notched a fourth place finish (8k time of 24:50.3) and earned All-CCAA honors October 23, 2021 at the CCAA Cross Country Championships, helping the Wildcats capture the program’s 19th straight men’s cross country crown
- Turned in an All-West Region worthy effort with an 18th place finish (10k time of 31:27.6) November 6, 2021 at the NCAA West Regional
- Wrapped up the fall with a flourish, earning All-America accolades with a 24th place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, completing the 10k layout with a time of 31:06.9
- In track & field, recorded personal best times of 1,500m (3:55.56 April 23, 2022 at the Chico Invitational), 5k (14:08.87 April 1, 2022 at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic), and 10k (29:44.02 April 13, 2022 at the Bryan Clay Invitational)
- Finished first in the 5,000m (14:20.97) May 7, 2022 at the CCAA Track & Field Championships, earning All-CCAA honors.
 
As a Junior (2020­–21)
- Did not compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
2019–20
- Earned All-CCAA, All-West Region and All-America cross country honors in 2019
- Began the fall with a 37th place finish (8k time of 24:49.1) September 28 at the Capital Cross Challenge
- Notched a 10k time of 32:19 en route to a ninth place finish October 12, 2019 at the Western Washington Classic
- Placed 15th (8k time of 25:24.3) October 26, 2019 at the CCAA Cross Country Championships, helping lead the Wildcats to the program’s 18th straight conference title
- Posted a 10k PR time of 30:16.3 and a 12th place finish November 9 at the NCAA West Regional
- Concluded a successful season by placing 30th (10k time of 30:33.7) November 23, 2019 at the NCAA Cross Country Championships
- Ran in one event during the COVID-19 shortened 2020 track & field season, finishing first in the 5,000m with a PR time of 14:45.84 March 7, 2019 at the Kim Duyst Invitational.
 
As a Sophomore (2018–19)
- In his first race in a Chico State uniform, posted a 32nd place effort at the Capital Cross Challenge
- Dropped a massive personal best (24:16) at the Bronco Invitational, helping the men’s team capture the meet’s team title
- Was sixth overall (and sixth Wildcat) at the UC San Diego Triton Invitational
- Earned his first All-CCAA honor with a fourth place effort (24:27) at the conference championships in San Bernardino
- Placed 18th at the West Region Championships, earning All-Region recognition
- Concluded the cross country season with a 126th place run at the NCAA Championships in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- Got off to a slow start on the oval due to some missed winter training
- Recorded a time of 15:02 5k at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic
- Posted a 1,500 PR of 4:02 at the Chico Twilight Invitational
- Ran a 31:45 10k debut at the Mt. SAC Relays
- Doubled back two weeks later at the CCAA Championships and shaved 29 seconds off his 10k time and establishing a 31:16 PR for the 25 lapper, finishing sixth overall.
 
As a Freshman (2017–18)
Redshirted both cross country and track as a true freshman
- Opened fall season with a sixth place run at the PAUSATF Rebel Challenge race clocking at 19:18 for the 6k course
- Placed 57th at the Capital Cross Challenge debuting at the 8k distance with a time of 25:31
- Finished second overall of 139 finishers in the open men’s 8k race at the Bronco Invitational, posting a 25:06 PR
- Raced to a 14:57 5k PR in the team’s postseason track time trial before concluding the fall with a 12th place run at the Doc Adams Invitational
- Track season allowed for no racing due to sickness.
 
Pre-Chico Days
- Although his running career began a bit later than most, Emanuel quickly developed into one of the top distance talents in the North Section during his days at Chico High School
- As a junior, turned heads in his first-ever cross country race with a second place showing at the Bill Springhorn Invitational, clocking a 15:06 time on the 2.9-mile course
- Placed sixth (15:53) in the D-III boys race at the Stanford Invitational
- Won the Eastern Athletic League title and placed second overall at the North Section Championships
- Wrapped up his first year of cross country with an 18th place finish at the State Championships with a 15:41 final time
- Senior year of cross country brought more success, including a 14:45 run at the Springhorn Invitational and a 15:30 run at Stanford
- Delivered another second place finish in the North Section Championships and a huge 15:27 11th place run at the State Championships
- Enjoyed similar success on the track, notching league and section championship titles over the 3,200-meter distance
- Finished his senior season with a 9:25 3,200-meter PR at the State Championships, where he would place 19th.
 
Personal
- Born December 30, 1998, in Chico
- Son of Kevin and Jill…Has one older sibling, Erin
- Favorite course at Chico State is Temporary Structures, taught by Chris Souder
- Chose to attend Chico State “for the outstanding running program and people that it consists of”
- His greatest sports moment was being part of the Chico State cross country team that finished third at the 2019 NCAA Championships
- The most interesting thing he’s ever done is lobster diving in Mexico
- The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is becoming a two-time All-America
- Has learned by competing in distance running to “enjoy life in the moment”
- Says his biggest non-running talents are surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, and drawing
- Can play the bass guitar
- At the top of his bucket list: “Traveling in and across Europe”
- Best advice ever received came from Chico State distance alumnus Aaron Thomas: “When the opportunities present themselves, take them. Don’t wait because they won’t last forever”
- Majoring in construction management
- Plans to pursue a career as a field engineer as well as helping coach a high school distance program.
