Pre-Chico Days
A 2020 graduate of Davis High School…Helped lead the Blue Devils to the 2019 Delta League track & field championship by taking top honor in the conference meet’s 400m dash…In addition to the 400m, ran the 100m and 200m dash, 800m and 1,600m run, and 4x400m relay during his prep career…Also competed in cross country.

Born December 27, 2001, in Bakersfield…Son of Matt Dulcich and Sumiko Hong…Has one younger sibling, Kellen…The person he most admires in the sports world is sprinter Michael Norman (“I always remember watching his race videos before some of my meets in high school, and it would help me get motivated to compete”)…Chose to attend Chico State “because I was really interested in the construction management program that it offers here, and I felt welcomed by the coach of the track team”…His greatest sports moment is winning a league championship in the 400m dash…The most interesting thing he’s ever done is “get adopted”…Has learned by competing in track & field to “never give up”…Enjoys snowboarding and surfing when he has some free time…Can play the piano, and says music is his biggest talent outside of sports…Best advice ever received came from his mom: “She told me to do cross country, which got me into running”…Majoring in construction management…Plans a career as a project manager in the construction industry.
