Appeared in one event at the March 6–7 Kim Duyst Invitational prior to the cancellation of the 2020 track & field season…Finished sixth in the long jump with a leap of 6.48m.
 
Pre-Chico Days
Spent two years as part of the Riverside City College track & field program…A member of the Tigers’ 2019 State Championship team…A 2017 graduate of La Quinta High School…Named team MVP as a senior…Part of the Blackhawks’ 4x400m relay team that took top honors at the 2017 Desert Valley League Finals…Also lettered in football, helping La Quinta High capture a pair of DVL titles.
 
Personal
Born September 28, 1999, in Indio…Son of Jason and Dana…Has two older siblings, Sierra and Reina…The person he most admires in the sports world is Tom Brady (“because he is someone who is defeating the boundaries in the football world. He is doing what so many people can’t do and that is continuing to win Super Bowls despite how old he is”)…His favorite instructor at Chico State is Dr. John Lind…Why he chose to attend Chico State: “I understood they have a great program, and felt that I could become the best athlete I can be with this team”…His greatest sports moment is helping his team secure a win in the 4x400m during the division finals…The most interesting thing he’s ever done is hike through a mountain off-trail to find a waterfall…The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is win an MVP award”…Has learned by competing in track & field that “hard work and dedication will always pay off”…Enjoys playing video games and working out when he has some free time…Says being a gamer is his biggest non-sports talent…Admits that working out “helps me clear my mind”…At the top of his bucket list: “To be able to compete in track and field professionally”…Best advice ever received came from his high school coach Brian Ansley: “Keep working hard and don’t hold anything back”…Majoring in civil engineering.
