Pre-Chico Days
- Played three years at East Los Angeles College, batting a combined .319 with 53 runs batted in and 17 stolen bases
- Won four games and struck out 54 batters as a starting pitcher in 2019
- First Team All-South Coast Conference and All-Southern California selection in 2019
- Spent the 2021 season at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, but did not see action
- A 2018 graduate of San Fernando High School
- Helped lead the Tigers to a pair of Valley Mission League titles
- Twice named league MVP
- All-LA City and All-Area selection

- Son of Rudy and Griselda
- Has two siblings, Angel and Isabel
- His family is his hero (“Each and every one of them have impacted my life growing up and pushed me to be who I am today. I appreciate them all”)
- The person he most admires in the sports world is Kobe Bryant (“His work ethic is something no one can compare with. He wanted to be the best and did everything in his power to prepare himself”)
- Why he chose to become a Wildcat: “Chico State baseball is one of the best D-II programs, so I wanted to be a part of a great program”
- His greatest sports moment was tossing six shutout innings and going 4-for-5 at the plate in his first college appearance
- The most interesting thing he’s ever done is drive 23 hours to San Antonio (“There was around nine of us in one van. It was a long but fun ride”)
- The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished: “Being able to throw a ball as hard as I used to before I had labrum surgery”…Has learned how to handle failure by playing baseball (“Learning to cope with failure is a key factor in life”)
- Enjoys watching movies when he has some free time
- His biggest non-baseball talent: “I can cook a good steak”
