Biography

As a Junior (2024)
- Only saw action once out of the bullpen, throwing an inning against Cal State San Marcos (March 15), giving up two runs on a double and a walk while striking out two

As a Sophomore (2023)
- Did not see action

With Shoreline College (Washington)
- Spent three years in the Dolphins’ program
- Pitched in 14 games (two starts) in 2022, posting a 1-2 record, five saves, and 3.03 earned run average while striking out 42 batters in 32.2 innings of work

With Skyline High School (Washington)
- Lettered in baseball
- A 2019 graduate of Skyline High School in Sammamish, Washington
- Played both pitcher and catcher, helping the Spartans win two KingCo 4A league titles and earn the state’s No. 7 ranking during his senior year
- Received All-KingCo 4A Honorable Mention as a catcher in 2019

Personal
- Born June 16 in Pleasanton
- Son of Norm and Tracy
- Has two older siblings, Trevor and Cole
- His dad is his hero (“He’s always been there to support me. Being incredibly patient, he’s always set the perfect example and ensured I learned from my mistakes”)
- The person he most admires in the sports world is Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan (“He turned his career around and played longer than most people can fathom”)
- Favorite course at Chico State is American Government: National, State, and Local, taught by Craig Scarpelli
- Why he chose to attend Chico State: “The great baseball and construction management programs”
- His greatest sports moment is catching a perfect game
- The most interesting thing he’s ever done: “When COVID hit, I stopped playing baseball and worked on a drilling crew for eight months”
- The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is deadlifting 485 pounds
- Has learned by playing baseball that “the past is quickly forgotten. Live in the present”
- Enjoys working out, and playing chess and video games when he has some free time
- Considers chess his biggest non-baseball talent…Is very interested in martial arts, especially UFC (“I have a history of training Muay Thai”)
- At the top of his bucket list: “Play professional baseball”
- Best advice ever received: “Give thanks every day, especially every morning. Work as hard as you can every day, and help out your fellow man”
- Majoring in construction management
- Plans to pursue a career into residential/commercial construction management.
