Biography

As a Junior (2024)
- Made 3 starts out of 14 games played, all at second base
- Went 4-for-16 at the plate, stretching 2 doubles while knocking in 4 RBIs
- Had a 2-for-3 performance in game two against Simpson (Feb. 13), hitting a double

With Feather River College
- Played in 87 games, hitting .331
- Helped the Golden Eagles win the Golden Valley Conference
- Named first-team All-Golden Valley as a freshman after hitting .373 while leading the conference in runs scored (50), doubles (16), triples (5) and stolen bases (12)

With Kettle Moraine High School
- Named first-team all-conference in 2021

Club
- Played four years at the Brew State Baseball Academy in Wisconsin
- As a member of one of the top 5 baseball teams in the state, the team had won multiple tournament

- Born November 4 in Eagle, Wisconsin
- Parents are John and Randee
- Has one sister, Maddie
- Was part of best buddies in middle and high school, working with special needs kids
- Favorite course at Chico State thus far is Far Northern California Studies with William Dantona. 'Great professor and really enjoyed the subject'
- His heroes are his dad and grandfather, Dick Martin. 'Both taught me how to be a respectable man and really molded me into the person that I have become and strive to become even better. Both have been great role models in my life and would just love to do what they did for their kids for mine.'
- Sports hero is his baseball mentor Chad Tindal for 'really encouraging me to come to the West Coast and play baseball. He is pretty much family to me and taught me a lot of the things I know in baseball and am super grateful to have him in my life. As well as the coaches at Feather River and Chico State. Coaches Terry Baumgartner and Jason Gay have really helped me develop as a player.'
- Chose Chico State for the great program and campus
- Greatest sports moment thus far is 'playing at Feather River, learning to play college baseball with such a close group of guys and really think that we can recreate that this season at Chico State'
- Most accomplished moment outside of sports was catching a 43-inch muskey with his father and grandfather in a boat. 'Just a really special moment having three generations in the boat sharing that one moment altogether is truly something that I won't be able to forget.'
- His best talent is being kind and friendly
- Plays the trumpet and bass
- Likes to spend time with friends and play video games
- On his bucket list is traveling the world and meeting new people, and skydiving
- Loves to go fishing and metal detecting with his grandfather
- Best advice is to 'always be kind and never say no to an opportunity'
- Majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance
