Transfer from Palomar College in San Marcos…Pre-Chico Days: Spent three years in the Comets’ program…Batted .327 as a redshirt sophomore in 2020…A 2017 graduate of Classical Academy High School in Escondido…Helped lead Caimans to three Pacific League championships…Personal: Born June 26, 1998, in Vista…Son of Richard and Susan…Has three siblings: Hilary, Hansen, and Silas…The person he most admires in the sports world is Hall of Fame relief pitcher Trevor Hoffman (“Flat out one of the coolest and hardest working player that I ever saw growing up. I loved that when he stepped on the field it was all business. Just an all- around great guy and a great ball player”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Introduction to Communication Studies, taught by Jennifer Brundidge…Why he chose to attend Chico State: “Seemed like a good fit. I know the way I like things to run on and off a baseball field, and it seemed like the place that was going to hold true to my standards”…His greatest sports moment is playing college ball: “The satisfaction and the chills that I still get running out onto a college field is so rewarding”…The most interesting thing he’s ever done is getting to fly a plane on his 12th or 13th birthday (“It was a crazy and super fun experience”)…The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is receiving his AA degree in junior college…Has learned by playing baseball that “the game is a team sport that relies heavily on communication, It’s an important aspect of the teams that are good and the ones that aren’t”…Enjoys fishing, surfing, camping, playing disc golf, and road trips when he has some free time…Loves sushi, but hates cooked fish”…Maintains his biggest talent, outside of baseball, is “either photography, or disc golf...one of the two”…At the top of his bucket list: “Own property and build a big barn on it for storage and projects”…Best advice ever received was from a friend/mentor in his life: “Don’t get into a relationship if you’re not happy with who you are as a person”…Majoring in communication studies...Plans to start his own landscape or electrical company.
