As a Redshirt Freshman (2023)
- Started 34 of 43 games
- Hit a team third-best .313 batting average
- Finished third on the team with 22 RBIs
- Had two doubles, a triple and two home runs
- Had a 4-RBI game against Cal Poly Pomona on March 17, hitting a 3-run home run and a RBI single
- Went 3-for-3 with a walk and 2 RBIs against Cal State San Bernardino on April 22

- Favorite course at Chico State is Physics for Students of Science and Engineering: Mechanics, taught by Yuhfen Lin
- Why he chose to attend Chico State: “I fell in love with the campus and the baseball program. It was also close enough to home that I could see my family”
- His greatest sports moment was a pitching a complete game on his high school Senior Night to help his team beat the number one school in the conference
- The most interesting thing he’s ever done: “I visited Drummond Castle in Scotland, which once belonged to my Scottish ancestors”…The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is getting offers to play college baseball
- Has learned by playing baseball to “always dive headfirst into everything”
- Enjoys playing video games and “occasionally taking naps”
- His biggest talent outside of baseball: “I’m good at either making people laugh or annoying them really quickly”
- Admits to shattering his hamate bone while playing summer ball and deciding to play through it

- Best advice ever received came from an old travel ball coach: “You should be working your hardest when no one’s watching”
