One of six true freshmen on the Wildcats’ roster…Pre-Chico Days: A 2021 graduate of Arcadia High School…Helped lead the Apaches to the 2021 Pacific League championship with a perfect 14-0 record…Earned First Team All-PL honors and named Arcadia High’s Underclassman of the Year as a senior…Began his prep career at La Salle High School in Pasadena…Part of the 2018 Lancers team that reached the CIF Southern Section Division 3 championship finals…Also lettered in basketball…Personal: Born April 14, 2003, in Pasadena…Son of Ernie and Michelle…Has two younger siblings, Devon and Brooklynn…His parents are his heroes (“They taught me how to be a good human being and instilled in me a good work ethic, determination, kindness, as well as many other valuable traits”)…The person he most admires in the sports world is LeBron James (“because of his consistent dominance throughout the years and how he carries himself on and off the court”)…Chose to attend Chico State “because of the historically great baseball program, good academics, and college environment”…Has learned by playing baseball that “you have to keep on trying and giving things your all, because things will turn around”…Enjoys going to the beach, being in nature, going on adventures, and spending time with friends and family…Can play the saxophone and piano, and considers playing music his biggest talent outside of baseball…Was in the band during his first three years in high school…At the top of his bucket list: “Traveling the world”…Best advice ever received has come from many: “Never give up”…Majoring in molecular and cellular biology…Plans on pursuing a career as a doctor of sports doctor.
