Biography

Transfer from Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria…Pre-Chico Days: Spent three years in the Bulldogs’ program, posting a career .313 batting average and 23 stolen bases…Helped lead Allan Hancock to the 2021 Western State Conference North championship, earning First Team All-WSC, the conference’s Gold Glove Award, All-South Region accolades, and All-State honors from the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association…A 2018 graduate of Lompoc High School…Three-time First Team Los Padres League selection…Named First Team All-Area in 2017 and All-Area MVP in 2018…All-Area Gold Glove award winner as a sophomore…Also lettered in basketball…Personal: Born March 22, 2000, in Lompoc…Son of Jeff and Rosa…Has three older siblings: Lauren, Alyssa, and Jason…His dad is his hero (“I look up to him a lot, and he’s taught me so much about sports and how to be a better person on and off the field. He’s done so much for my family, and one day I hope can give back to him everything he’s given to me”)…The person he most admires in the sports world is LeBron James (“because of how he is able to deal with all the slander on his name and the pressure he receives, and is still one of the best players at his age”)…Chose to attend Chico State “because of the nice campus and the beautiful baseball field”…His greatest sports moment was winning the conference championship in his final year at Allan Hancock College…The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is earning all the personal awards after winning a conference title at Allan Hancock…Has learned by playing baseball that “there’s a lot more to the game than just myself. You fail more times than you succeed, so you have be able to overcome the failure and move past it to succeed”…Enjoys fishing, playing video games, traveling, and going out with friends…Considers fishing his biggest non-baseball talent…Loves to ocean fish, and one time caught a 36-inch shark…At the top of his bucket list: “Going to New York to watch the Yankees play in Yankee Stadium, and watch LeBron James play before he retires”…Majoring in business management…Plans to pursue a “high management” job at a company, and “maybe own my own company someday.”
