Transfer from Division I University of New Mexico…Pre-Chico Days: Spent the 2021 season in the Lobos’ program…A 2020 graduate of Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta…Posted a 14-3 record and 1.68 earned run average over three varsity seasons…Helped the Broncos win the 2019 Southwestern League title…Two-time First Team All-SL selection…Earned All-State honors as a senior…Personal: Born January 22, 2002, in Mesa, Arizona…Son of Mark and Lisa…Has two siblings, Miranda and Addison…His parents are his heroes (“because of how much they have done for me in my life without expecting anything in return. I truly look up to them”)…The person he most admires in the sports world is Pat Tillman (“because he chose to go fight for our country after he played football collegiately and professionally”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Nutrition and Physical Fitness, taught by Angela Harter Alger…Chose to attend Chico State “because the baseball program is good year in and year out. Also, the atmosphere at Chico State is pretty awesome”…His greatest sports moment was throwing a complete game shutout against Anaheim’s Servite High School during his junior year…The most interesting thing he’s ever done is visit the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York…The most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished is earning a scholarship to play college baseball out of high school…Has learned by playing baseball to “stay humble and to never get too high or too low”…Enjoys golfing when he has some free time…His favorite sports teams are the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Arizona Cardinals…At the top of his bucket list: “Skydiving”…Best advice ever received came from his high school coach: “Never settle”…Majoring in criminal justice…Plans to pursue a career in law enforcement.
