Biography

As a Junior (2023)
- Started 9-of-12 games on the mound
- Led the team in wins (4) and ERA (3.13)
- After 3 straight appearances in relief to start the season, moved into the starting role permanently on February 20 against Colorado Mesa
- Threw a season-high 6.1 innings in win against Stanislaus State on March 4
- Struck out a season-high 9 batters at Sonoma State on March 26

As a Sophomore (2022)
- Appeared in 14 games for the Wildcats in 2022, making 13 starts
- Led the staff in innings pitched (66.1), tied for the team lead with seven victories, and ranked second in strikeouts (39)
- Struck out 10 batters in his Chico State debut February 5, 2022 vs. Saint Martin’s to earn CCAA Pitcher of the Week honors
- Two-time CCAA All-Academic selection
- Received 2021–22 Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award

Pre-Chico Days
- Pitched three seasons for Ohlone College in Fremont
- Earned Second Team All-Coast Conference honors in 2021
- A 2018 graduate of Clayton Valley High School in Concord
- Helped lead the Eagles to the 2017 Diablo-Foothill League championship

- Favorite course at Chico State is Management of Recreation, Hospitality, and Parks, taught by Jesse Engebretson
- Why he chose to attend Chico State: “I loved the location”
- His greatest sports moment is “playing at the Houston Astros’ stadium this February”
- The most interesting thing he’s ever done is climb up Half Dome in Yosemite
- The most impressive thing he’s ever done is buy a home at age 21
- Has learned by playing baseball that “failures are more important than successes”
- Enjoys hunting and fishing when he has some free time
- His biggest talent outside of baseball: “I just like to go hiking and be outdoors”
