Wildcats' Memorable Season Comes to an End at the CCAA Tournament Semifinal

POMONA, Calif. – The Chico State women's basketball team's 2025-26 season filled with streaks and milestones came to an end Friday afternoon with a 79–57 loss to No. 1 seed Cal Poly Pomona in the CCAA Tournament semifinals at Kellogg Arena. The Wildcats tied a program record with a 14-game winning streak this season, and head coach Brian Fogel became the winningest coach in program history, surpassing Fran Coslet and reaching 293 career wins in his 18th year.

The loss closes Chico State's season at 20–10 overall, marking the third straight 20-win season and the fifth under Fogel's leadership.
