POMONA, Calif. – Chico State dropped the series finale 6–2 Sunday afternoon at Scolinos Field as Cal Poly Pomona claimed the four-game CCAA series.
Chico State falls to 14–12 overall and 3–5 in the CCAA. Cal Poly Pomona improves to 15–7 overall and 7–1 in conference play.
Wildcat Standouts
Brady Wright – Went 1-for-3 with a walk and scored one of the Wildcats' two runs.
Keoni Coloma – Reached base twice with a single and hit-by-pitch.
Jakob Poole – Struck out four over 4.1 innings in the start.

– Cal Poly Pomona struck first in the second inning on Julian Angulo's solo home run to left center before Evan Nahra followed with an RBI double to give the Broncos a 2–0 lead.
– The Broncos added another run in the fourth on Gage Gonzales' sacrifice fly.
