Monmouth, Ore. - Chico State women's cross country dominated the Mike Johnson XC Classic, capturing the team title with 47 points and a 1:47:10 total time. The Wildcats placed five athletes in the top 20, led by junior Megan Malloy's 7th-place finish in 21:11.3, with strong support from freshmen Paulina Martins (8th) and Kira Forsberg (16th), sophomore Olivia Beschorner (12th), and junior Sienna Bianchi (19th).

Chico State captured the team title with a total score of 47 points and an average time of 21:26 across their scoring five Wildcats. Megan Malloy led the way for the Wildcats with a personal best of 21:11.3 and her best finish of her collegiate career. Paulina Martins boasted a standout finish in her second collegiate race, while fellow freshman Kira Forsberg followed suit, racing her way into a top-20 finish.Â
