DuPont, Wash. – The Chico State women's golf team teed it up for the opening round of the 2025 Grisham Memorial Shootout on Monday at The Home Course, finishing the day in 12th place with a team score of 319 (+31).
Senior Brooke Pelletier led the Wildcats with a steady 3-over par 75. Pelletier got off to a hot start on the front nine, firing an even-par 36, before closing with a 39 on the back to put herself in a tie for 13th individually.
Freshman Gabriella Fanucchi delivered a 6-over 78 in her first Grisham Memorial appearance, while senior Sophia Magaña carded an 82 (+10). Juniors Lilly Crays and Ariana Blagrove each shot 84 (+12) to round out the Wildcats' scoring.
Chico State sits in 12th place heading into Tuesday's action, aiming to improve its standing in the final round.
