GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The Chico State women's golf team teed off its 2025–26 campaign Monday at the RJGA Shootout at Estrella, posting a team score of 317 in the opening round at the Golf Club of Estrella. The Wildcats sit in 13th place heading into Tuesday's final round.

Junior Ariana Blagrove paced Chico State with a 4-over 76, highlighted by birdies on the par-5 10th and par-3 15th, to finish the day tied for 25th individually. Senior Brooke Pelletier also turned in a steady round, carding a 78 to put herself in a tie for 41st.

Gabriella Fanucchi, making her Chico State debut, delivered a 7-over 79 to tie for 43rd, while returners Lillian Crays and Sienna Garcia each battled to 12-over 84s to round out the Wildcats' scoring five.

Cal State LA leads the 14-team field at 1-under par, while Cal State San Marcos (+6) and Cal State East Bay (+10) round out the top three.

The Wildcats return to the course Tuesday morning for the second and final round of the Shootout.
