CHICO, Calif. – Chico State (0-2-1, 0-0-0 CCAA) dropped a tight contest 1–0 against Simon Fraser (2-0-1, 0-0-0 GNAC) on Wednesday afternoon at University Soccer Stadium. Despite a strong defensive performance and nine saves from goalkeeper Claire Schnabel, the Wildcats were unable to overcome a late goal by the Red Leafs.
The Wildcats will be back at University Soccer Stadium this Sunday, September 14th at 11:30 am, hosting the Saints of Saint Martin's, searching for their first win of the season.
