Wildcats Net Four in Win Over Saint's

CHICO, Calif. – Chico State struck twice in each half to blank Saint Martin's, 4–0, on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025 at University Soccer Stadium. With the home victory, the Wildcats improved to 1-2-1 overall (0-0-0 CCAA), while the Saints fell to 1-3-0 (0-0-0 GNAC)

How it happened

  • Chico State broke through in the 24th minute when Makayla Quesada converted off a setup from Taylor McMahon and Madison Schuler.

  • The Wildcats doubled the lead before halftime in the 35th minute, as Olivia Hohnstein finished with assists from Natalie Nevarez and Jiana Martin.

  • After the break, Taylor McMahon made it 3–0 in the 54th minute with help from Alyssa Marceau and Hannah Pieri.

  • Chico State capped the scoring in the 88th minute with a team goal to secure the 4–0 shutout
