Chico State broke through in the 24th minute when Makayla Quesada converted off a setup from Taylor McMahon and Madison Schuler.

The Wildcats doubled the lead before halftime in the 35th minute, as Olivia Hohnstein finished with assists from Natalie Nevarez and Jiana Martin.

After the break, Taylor McMahon made it 3–0 in the 54th minute with help from Alyssa Marceau and Hannah Pieri.
