ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) announced its 2025 Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll on Monday, with Chico State leading all member institutions with 77 student-athletes recognized among the 642 total honorees across the conference.

To qualify for the CCAA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be of at least sophomore athletic standing and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher. They must also compete in a CCAA-sponsored sport during the respective season.

The Winter Honor Roll includes student-athletes who participated in men's and women's basketball, while the Spring Honor Roll recognizes competitors in baseball, softball, men's and women's golf, and men's and women's track & field.

Chico State's 77 honorees topped the conference, followed by Cal State San Marcos with 74, Cal State East Bay with 66, and Cal Poly Pomona with 61.

Of the 77 Wildcats honored, 38 also earned a spot on last year's list, and seven have now been recognized multiple times for their academic excellence.

The CCAA recognizes individuals academically per season – fall, winter and spring – for all CCAA-sponsored sports. The CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll consists of eligible student-athletes who compete in men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer and volleyball.
