Della and Iresh Molina in the 5000m Race

A Pair of Strong Finishes in Pueblo to Close Out the NCAA Championships

| By:
PUEBLO, Colo. - In their second and final competition of the season, the duo of Della and Iresh Molina depart the 2025 NCAA DII Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a trophy and two All-American titles under each of their names.

On Saturday, Della and Iresh were slated to take part in their first 5000m on the national stage, with an earlier start time due to expected weather in the later hours.

A stacked field of runners from Adams State filled the start line, with the pair of Wildcats standing experienced runners from across the nation. The pace rocketed quicker than anyone could have expected and the twins from Chico battled to stay with the midfield to have a chance at kicking at the end for podium finishes. But after having ran the 10,000m two days prior, fresh legs were pushing the pace and the top eight fell out of reach.

Della Molina finished in 12th with a 17:13.43 and Iresh was on her heels in 13th at 17:13.65. Despite finishing below podium finishes, Della claimed another Second Team All-American finish to her repertoire with her top-twelve finish in Pueblo.

With their finish in Pueblo, that's a wrap on Chico State women's track & field's 2025 season.
