TURLOCK, Calif. – Two second-half goals lifted No. 15 Stanislaus State past Chico State, 2–0, on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at Warrior Stadium. With the road loss, the Wildcats fell to 3-5-4 overall (1-2-3 CCAA), while the Warriors improved to 12-0-1 (6-0-1 CCAA).

How it happened
After a defensive first half that saw just one Chico State shot, Stanislaus State broke through in the 59th minute when Gerardo Flores finished a pass from Samuel Villanueva.
Flores struck again eight minutes later, converting from close range off assists from Christian Brenes and Emmanuel Duran to double the Warriors' lead.
The Wildcats pushed for a late response with five second-half shots but couldn't break through against a Stanislaus back line that has yet to allow more than one goal in any match this season.
Weston Joyner made two saves for Chico State, while Angel Ruiz-Hernandez stopped both shots he faced to record the shutout.
