CHICO, Calif. – Gwyneth Wentzel delivered a career-high 17 kills to lead the Chico State volleyball team to a 3–1 win over Stanislaus State (25–15, 20–25, 25–23, 25–20) Saturday night at Acker Gym. Wentzel hit .560 for the match as the Wildcats extended their winning streak to three matches—their longest of the season—and improved to 7–10 overall and 4–7 in the CCAA.
Wentzel was one of four Wildcats to hit over .300 on the night, as Chico State finished with a .212 team attack percentage while holding the Warriors to .153.
