The Wildcats move to 4-5-2 overall (2-2-0 CCAA), while the Golden Eagles improve to 4-4-3 (1-3-0 CCAA). The Wildcats head back home after splitting the weekend in Southern California, nabbing a win over the Broncos on Friday, sitting in a tie for fifth in the CCAA standings with newcomers UC Merced.

How it happened
Cal State LA opened the scoring in the 22nd minute when Delia Bocanegra lifted a shot over the keeper off a pass from Celine Gehrig.
Gehrig later added an insurance goal from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute.
Despite outshooting the Golden Eagles 18–10, Chico State couldn't break through. Kennedy Briseno made five saves for the Wildcats keeping the damage to a minimum.
