As the Chico State volleyball team gets ready to take on Cal State San Bernardino is Thursday's first round of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Tournament, a trio of Wildcats were recognized Wednesday for their outstanding 2019 seasons. The conference announced its annual All-CCAA awards, with Kim Wright earning First Team honors, Makaela Keeve being named Second Team All-CCAA, and Brooke Ono receiving All-CCAA Honorable Mention.

This marks the third time Wright has been an All-CCAA recipient, with Keeve and Ono each earning their first conference honor.

Wright now has two First Team All-CCAA awards; the first coming in 2016. The senior middle hitter was a Second Team All-CCAA selection in 2018. Wright has racked up a career-high 351 kills in 2019—second-most among conference players this season—while also leading the Wildcats in solo blocks (19), block assists (66), total blocks (85), and service aces (38).

On the eve of the CCAA Tournament, Wright is Chico State's all-time service ace leader (151), and ranks in the Wildcat career top 10 in kills (seventh, 1,110), attack percentage (tied for second, .317), solo blocks (fourth, 66), block assists (third, 273), total blocks (third, 339), and sets played (sixth, 422).

Keeve also enjoyed a career year for the 'Cats. The junior middle hitter blasted 282 kills contributed 19 service aces, and amassed 68 total blocks (13 solos, 55 block assists).

Ono receives All-CCAA honors as a true freshman. The Cameron Park product led all conference setters in assists (1,066) and assists per set (10.66). Ono also collected 25 service aces and 28 total blocks in her first season of college ball.Â
