The 2009 Chico State women's soccer team set the NCAA Division II record for most ties in a season with nine. In 2018, the Wildcats are already well on their way to setting a different record for ties. With Thursday night's 0-0 draw with Seattle Pacific, the Wildcats have now started the season with three straight scoreless draws. The season record for is five, set by South Dakota State in 2003. Consecutive scoreless draws is not a category in the record book. But it's quite possible the Wildcats have that one as well. Of South Dakota State's five, only two came consecutively.

nd minute.
Â
