CARSON – Just about everyone's been lost in Los Angeles one time or another. The Chico State women's soccer team wasn't exactly lost Friday night at Toro Stadium. The Wildcats just couldn't find the back of the net.
Chico State settled for a scoreless draw against Cal State Dominguez Hills despite out-shooting the Toros 20-13.
The Wildcats are now 7-2-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
The Chico State defense notched its sixth shutout in 11 matches. The clean sheet was Wildcats goalkeeper Mackenzie Boulton's fifth in 10 career starts for the freshman.
Shelby Lanksbury led the Wildcats with four shots. Pooja Patel, Gabi Story and Carlie Reader took three shots apiece.
The Wildcats are back in action Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at Cal State L.A.
