Chico State Athletics

Brittany O'Bryant has certainly been the model of consistency for the Chico State women's golf team during the 2018–19 season. The senior from Elk Grove has finished in the top 30 in all six of the Wildcats' tournaments—including a pair of top 15 efforts—and has registered a sub-80 score in eight of her 11 total rounds. O'Bryant continued her consistent play during the Holy Names-hosted Mikuni Sushi Shootout, leading the 'Cats to a share of fifth place in the 13-team tournament and posting a 13th place finish on the individual leaderboard. O'Bryant's outstanding performance on the links makes her the latest Wildcat of the Week.
 
O'Bryant put together rounds of 75 and 77 to finish the Mikuni Sushi Shootout with a 36-hole score of 8-over par 152.
 
On her opening 18, O'Bryant birdied two holes and was even par through the first seven holes on the way to a 3-over 75. In Tuesday's final round, she finished with a flourish, playing 1-over par through the last nine holes to notch a 5-over 77 and the 13th place finish.
 
Her latest effort now gives O'Bryant 14 top 20 tournament finishes in her Chico State career.
 
O'Bryant and the Wildcats are back in action March 4–5 at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout, taking place at Corica Park in Alameda.
