One missing ingredient can have a drastic effect. Pauline Ferrall looks like she just might be the chocolatie chips to the Chico State basketball program's cookie. She's certainly put together a sweet start to the Wildcats' 2009-10 season. Ferrall notched  a double-double (20 points and 12 rebounds) in only 22 minutes of action in her first start as a Wildcat last Tuesday against Dominican. The 6-foot-2 sophomore transfer from Eastern Washington also chipped in two assists, a steal, and had only one turnover to earn Wildcat of the Week honors.

Ferrall's efforts Tuesday raised her season averages to 14 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. She leads the team in both categories, and she's second in shooting percentage at 58 percent.

Ferrall has done all this while averaging just 18.7 minutes per game.Over the course of 40 minutes (a full game) Ferrall is averaging  an astounding 29.9 points and 18.6 rebounds.

Ferrall will get her first taste of California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action this weekend when the Wildcats open conference play on the road at San Francisco State Friday and Cal State Monterey Bay Saturday.
