Chico State Athletics

Lindsey Dias helped lead the Chico State women's soccer teams to a pair of key in-region victories last week. She did it with finesse in Wednesday's 1-0 win against 24^th-ranked Seattle Pacific and with power in Sunday's 3-1 victory against Saint Martin's.
 
Dias played a perfect back-pass to assist Shelby Lanksbury's game-winner Wednesday. Sunday she hit a 10-yard rocket into the back of the net in the 13^th minute to stretch Chico State's lead to 2-0. She led the Wildcats with four shots, including three on target, during the match.
 
Dias entered the week with career totals of one goal and no assists. She finished the week third among active Wildcats in career points with five.
 
Dias and the Wildcats wrap up the non-conference portion of their schedule this week. They'll travel to take on Dominican in San Rafael Friday at 2 p.m. and then host third-ranked Cal State Stanislaus Sunday at 1 p.m.
