Shortly after completing his collegiate career, Chico State alumnus Vincent Rinaldi joined the Wildcats’ track & field coaching staff in fall 2025. He now assists with athlete development and training while helping mentor the next generation of Chico State student-athletes.
Going down as one of the best runners in program history, Rinaldi holds the school record in the 200 meters, has posted the second-fastest 400-meter time in Chico State history, and ranks fourth all-time in the 100. He played a pivotal role at the 2025 CCAA Championships, anchoring the 4x400-meter relay in the meet’s final event. Rinaldi surged past Cal Poly Pomona’s anchor in the closing stretch, sealing the victory and securing the team title for the Wildcats while denying the Broncos a fourth consecutive conference crown.
