Treyson Keating

Treyson Keating enters his second season as a graduate assistant with the Chico State men’s basketball program in 2026–27 while pursuing his master’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in coaching.

In his role with the Wildcats, Keating contributes to multiple areas of the program, including player development, recruiting support, team operations, travel coordination, practice and game preparation, and social media content. His responsibilities have given him experience across the day-to-day structure of a collegiate basketball program while helping support Chico State’s student-athletes and coaching staff.

Keating came to Chico State after a five-year playing career at UC Santa Cruz, where he competed from 2019–24. His time as a collegiate student-athlete helped shape his approach to coaching, player relationships, preparation, and team leadership.

A developing coach with a strong foundation in operations and player development, Keating brings an organized, detail-oriented approach to his work with the Wildcats while continuing to prepare for a career in college basketball coaching.
