Chico State Athletics

Lewis Griffith has served as Graduate Assistant for the Chico State Strength and Conditioning department beginning in the Fall of 2024, having previously been an intern since the Spring of 2023. Prior to his Graduate Assistant position, he has worked with the athletics programs at the University of Missouri, Butte College, and Pleasant Valley High School.

Lewis Griffith is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USA Weightlifting coach (USAW-L1), and has earned his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Chico State. He is currently in progress of his Masters Degree in Kinesiology at Chico, expecting to graduate in the Spring of 2026. After completing his masters, Lewis aims to continue his coaching career within collegiate or professional athletics.
