Cayden Jones joined the Wildcats staff as Assistant Communications Coordinator in the fall of 2023.

Prior to his arrival, Jones served for two years as a Sports Information Graduate Assistant at his alma mater, Concordia University Irvine. During his time with the Golden Eagles, he played a key role in digital media and athletic communications, contributing to game day operations for 24 NCAA Division II programs. His responsibilities included writing post game recaps, managing social media content, and supporting various communication initiatives.

He played a key role in managing and overseeing Concordia’s annual Softball Kickoff Classic at the OC Great Park, a premier event that welcomes teams from across the western United States to compete in over 100 games throughout the weekend.

Following the 2021–22 season, the PacWest Conference recognized Concordia’s Sports Information Department as the Department of the Year.

Jones earned his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing with a minor in Graphic Design from Concordia University Irvine in 2021, and completed his Master's of Business Administration in 2023. He was also a three-year member of the Golden Eagles men's soccer team from 2018-2021.
