Second year in the Wildcats’ program…Pre-Chico Days: A 2020 graduate of La Costa Canyon High School in Carlsbad…Earned two varsity letters…Helped lead the Mavericks to the 2019 state Division I semifinals…Personal: Born November 7, 2001, in West Linn, Oregon…Daughter of Steve and Cindy…Has three siblings: Quinn, Jack, and twin sister Bella…Her mom and dad are her heroes (“they both have made sacrifices for our family and have maintained a healthy and happy environment in our home”)…The person she most admires in the sports world is Simone Biles (“for having the courage to take a break for herself mentally and coming back to earn Olympic medals this summer”)…Favorite instructor at Chico State is Vernon Andrews…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “Chico is very beautiful and there’s a lot of fun things to do. Everyone is very kind and welcoming”…Her greatest sports thrill is being able to finally step on the court last spring with her new team…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is medaling at nationals with her club volleyball team…Most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is “achieving my goal since I was little to play volleyball in college”)…Has learned by playing volleyball “how to be a team player and to maintain a positive attitude in tough situations”.…Enjoys going to the beach, drawing, painting, and spending time with friends…One of biggest non-sport talents is being able to hold a headstand…At the top of her bucket list: to go skydiving…Best advice ever received came from her mom: “Never give up”…Majoring in business administration.
