As a Senior - T&F (2024)
- Appeared in five meets, all in high jump
- Finished in fifth at the CCAA Championships with a mark of 1.53m
- Set a personal record in the high jump of 1.60m at the Black and Gold Invite
As a Junior - T&F (2023)
- Appeared in six meets, all in the high jump
- Used a personal record of 1.56m to finish fifth at the CCAA Championships
- Took third at the Chico State Invitational and the Wildcat CUP
Pre-Chico Days
Spent three seasons in the Moorpark College track & field program…A 2018 graduate of Granada Hills Charter High School…Earned LA City Championships in both 2017 and 2018…Placed third in high jump in 2017 at the CIF LA City Section Finals…Took top honors in the high jump at the 2018 CIF LA City Section Finals.
Personal
Born June 3, in Lillehammer, Norway…Daughter of Roberto and Janne…Has four siblings: Delphine, Phillip, Isabella, and Olivia…Her mother is her hero (“She is the strongest woman I know”)…The person she most admires in the sports world is Michael Jordan (“due to the dedication and mental approach that makes him the star athlete he was”)…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “I was excited to get out of the city I was used to/comfortable in and wanted a change of scenery. I also had a coach that spoke highly of the track team as well as former teammates who are currently on the team”…Her greatest sports moment is competing at the California Community College Athletic Association Track & Field championships…The most interesting thing she’s ever done was take a natural mud/clay bath in the middle of a forest in Ivory Coast, Africa…The most impressive thing she’s ever done is get straight A’s in her two years at community college (“because prior to college I was never a straight A student”)…Has learned by competing in track & field that “just because you fail at something once, twice, even ten times, it doesn’t mean it’s impossible”…Enjoys going to the beach and watching the sunset when she has some free time…Her biggest talent outside of sports is “having a really good eye for visual merchandising”…At the top of her bucket list: “Travel through countries”…Best advice she’s ever received was came from her mom: “Be true to yourself no matter what”…Majoring in communications.
