Personal
Born February 1, 2001, in Sacramento…Daughter of Tiffany Lee…Her family is her hero “because they all supported me when I was in sports ever since I was three years old. I’m very grateful to my family for being there for me through the good and bad times. As I was growing up my mom, grandparents, aunts, and uncles helped me to experience any opportunities to help further my sports career, which motivated me to get me where I am today”…Chose to attend Chico State “because the track team welcomed me with open arms. Even though I was kind of the ‘new’ person, the whole team made me feel like family. The small-town atmosphere made me attracted to Chico State, and seeing the dynamic of how the athletics department operates, they treat their athletes right. I’m very grateful to have very supportive coaches”…Her greatest sports moment was, despite very little training, running the 800m in her first collegiate meet (“I impressed and surprised myself that I could run the 800”)…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is being the first college student-athlete in her family…Has learned by competing in track & field that “discipline and taking care of my health is a number one priority. It all started in the weight room”…Enjoys online shopping for sneakers and trying food places “that city locals go to all the time or have heard about from other people”…Admits to being “A MAJOR sneakerhead. And I love having a closetful of clothes!”…At the top of her bucket list: “Traveling to different areas around the world”…Best advice ever received came from her mom: “Don't work to be second best”…Majoring in kinesiology…Hopes to find a job working with professional athletes as an athletic trainer, but also plans on furthering her education…She is also interested in opening her own business.
