Pre-Chico Days
Spent two seasons as part of the Modesto Junior College track & field team, competing in the heptathlon, long jump, high jump, javelin, 100- and 400-meter hurdles, and 4x100- and 4x400-meter relays…A 2019 graduate of Kimball High School in Tracy…Competed in both cross country and track & field, while also lettering in soccer…Three-time team cross country MVP…On the track, helped the Jaguars take top honors in the 4x400-meter relay at the 2019 Valley Oak League Championships.

Born January 5, 2001, in Tracy…Daughter of Jason and Jenna…Has three younger siblings: Jaden, Logan, and Julian…Her mom is her hero (“She was able to go back to school and re-do her teaching credentials, while working as a substitute teacher and taking care of my brothers and I. I’ve learned from her that I can do anything if I am willing to work for it”…The person she most admires in the sports world is Florence Griffith Joyner (“She was an incredible athlete, and I always loved her style. She still holds the women’s records for the 100- and 200-meter”…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “I liked the area and the family vibe I was getting from the track & field team”…Her greatest sports moment is posting a PR in the 400-meter hurdles after not being able to train regularly due to COVID…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is travel to Italy and Jamaica…The most impressive thing she’s accomplished is paint an intricate album cover by hand as a gift for her dad…Has learned through competing in track & field that “I am always more mentally tough than I think I am”…Enjoys hiking, going on bike rides, and doing crafts when she has some free time…Claims her biggest talents outside of sports are painting and making jewelry (“and I happen to be pretty decent at both”)…Played soccer for 12 years…On the top of her bucket list: “Learn how to surf…Best advice ever received came from her dad: “It’s okay to need/ask for help”…Majoring in Psychology…Plans to pursue a career in the psychology/applied behavior analysis field.
