2019–20
Ran three times during the cross country season…Recorded a season-best 6k time of 23:52.2 September 28, 2019 at the Capital Cross Challenge…Posted a 62nd place finish November 17, 2019 at the PAUSATF Cross Country Championships, completing the 6.5k layout in 27:10…Did not run during the 2020 track & field season…Earned CCAA Fall All-Academic honors…Received the 2019–20 Division II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award.
2018–19
Began her Chico State cross country career with a 6k time of 23:00 and an 85th place finish at the Capital Cross Challenge…Placed 26th in the Open race at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational with a 22:40 6k PR…Enjoyed her best race of the year at the UC San Diego Triton Invitational, finishing 19th overall (23:10) and scoring for the team…Concluded the cross country season with a 34th place finish (23:00) at the CCAA Championships…On the track, recorded a 4:56 PR in the 1,500m at the Hornet Invitational…Posted a 5k time of 18:57 at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic…Finished 12th in the 1,500m (4:58) at the Chico Twilight Invitational…Wrapped up the spring with an eighth place finish in the 5k (19:15) at the Woody Wilson Invitational…Earned 2018–19 CCAA All-Academic honors.
Pre-Chico Days
As a senior at Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, placed 25th in the CIF Cross Country Championships with a 17:56 3-mile PR…Raced to an 18:35 mark at the State Cross Country Championships, helping the Broncos to a third place finish…On the track, advanced to the CIF Preliminaries in the 3,200m…Part of a 4x1600 relay team that set a still-standing school record with a time of 20:53.

Born March 25, 2000, in Riverside…Daughter of Kirk and Oralia…Has one older sister, Melissa…The person she most admires in the sports world is Nacho Libre “for his immense dedication, hard work, and passion for the wrestling world. He also truly cares for his fans and shows it with every interaction”…Chose to attend Chico State “for the academics”…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is eat crickets in desert…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is dislocating her elbow…Has learned through competing in distance running is “to drink cold chocolate milk after a run”…Likes to try to play violin, piano, and guitar…Has a seven year old cat named Binx and a ten-year-old cat named Walnut…At the top of her bucket list: “Try all kinds of food from all over the world”…The best advice she’s ever received came from Wildcat teammate Esmeralda Aguayo Ruiz: “If life knocks you down, stay down”…Majoring in animal science.
