2020
Competed in two events at the March 6 Kim Duyst Invitational prior to the cancellation of the 2020 track & field season…Finished 21st in the discus (29.90m) and 29th in the hammer throw (30.66m)…Earned two CCAA All-Academic honors.
 
2019
Competed in seven meets during the season…Posted personal best mark in the shot put (9.99m) at the March 1, 2019 Kim Duyst Invitational…Set new PR in the discus (32.85m) April 20, 2019 at the Yuba Last Chance Meet…Delivered best-ever hammer throw of 38.51m March 21, 2019 at the Jamie Nieto Invitational…Earned a pair of CCAA All-Academic honors.
 
2018
Appeared in six meets as a true freshman, competing in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw.
 
Pre-Chico Days
A 2017 graduate of Oakdale High School…Helped lead the Mustangs to four consecutive Valley Oak League track & field titles…As a senior, finished first in the discus at the 2017 VOL Championships, earning All-League honors…Placed second in the discus at the 2017 Sac-Joaquin Section Division III Finals…Also lettered in golf and cheerleading.
 
Personal
Born September 28, 1999, in Modesto…Daughter of Frank and Stephanie…Has three younger siblings: Logan, Dalton, and Bryson…The person she most admires in the sports world is Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman (“She has provided an incredible light in the sports world while challenging the paradigms of self-image issues and anxiety that many athletes may face”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Introduction to Technical Writing, taught by Kendall Leon…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “When I first visited Chico State I had an immediate connection to this campus. I know it may sound cliché, but when I stepped foot on campus I truly envisioned myself going here, and it looked and felt like everything I had ever imagined about college”…Her greatest sports moment is the way in which her teammates and coaches have been able to come together in times of adversity and celebration…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is study abroad in Reggio Emilia, Italy in Fall of 2019…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished: “In the fall 2020 semester, I took the most units I ever have, completed an internship, and received the highest GPA of my college career so far”…Has learned by competing in track & field “to take things day by day while simultaneously looking at the big picture”…Enjoys reading and traveling to new places when she has some free time…Says “I like to think I am good at cooking and baking”…Was a competitive gymnast for many years (“This helped shape me as an athlete and the sport will forever hold a major part of my heart”)…At the top of her bucket list: “Travel to a minimum of 20 countries”…Best advice ever received came from her parents: “Don’t underestimate yourself, work hard, and be kind”…Majoring in English studies…Plans to take a year between graduating from Chico State and entering law school to gain more hands-on experience in the legal field.
