Pre-Chico Days
Four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track at Elk Grove High School…Helped lead the Thundering Herd to a Sac-Joaquin section championship…Earned All-Delta League honors…Part of the school’s record-setting distance medley relay team.
 
Personal
Born October 18, 2001, in Sacramento…Daughter of Mark and Katie…Has one older sister, Grace…Her nana is her hero (“She fought ALS for two years and never once complained. She was strong to the very end”)…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “It felt like home, and I loved the town and team”…Her greatest sports moment was running her fastest 800m in front of family at her high school (“It was the best feeling”)…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is learn how to ride a unicycle…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is facing her fear of heights and jumping off the world’s largest bungee bridges…Has learned by running cross country to “never give up and work your hardest, because taking the easy way out will not benefit anyone”…Enjoys eating ice cream and playing with her dog when she has some free time…Says she’s “pretty good” at hunting…Admits “I am absolutely terrified of snails”…At the top of her bucket list: “Seeing the Northern Lights in alaska”…Best advice ever received came from her coach Tomas Rossow: “Just run and have fun. Don’t worry about times”…Majoring in criminal justice.
