Maddie Kalberer joined the Chico State track & field coaching staff in the fall 2025 as an assistant sprints coach, working with the Wildcats’ sprint and relay groups.
A Chico native, Kalberer graduated from Chico State with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She began her collegiate career at Butte College before transferring to the University of Nevada, Reno, and later returned to Chico State to compete in her final season.
During her collegiate career, Kalberer competed in a variety of events including the 100 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters, 4x100 relay, and 4x400 relay. She also spent time competing in the heptathlon, gaining experience across multiple track and field disciplines.
As a member of the Wildcats coaching staff, Kalberer works with the sprints group, focusing on sprint mechanics, speed development, and relay exchange technique.
