Competed in two events at the March 6 Kim Duyst Invitational prior to the cancellation of the 2020 track & field season…Finished sixth in the 400m hurdles (1:10.95) and 11th in the 100m hurdles (17.31 seconds)…Earned 2019–20 CCAA All-Academic honors.

Pre-Chico Days
A 2019 graduate of Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills…Helped lead the Trojans to two Sierra Foothill League championships…Part of the school-record holding 4x400m relay team (3:54.54)…Won top 4x400m relay honors at the 2019 SFL Championships…Competed in 100m, 200m, and 400m dash, and the 800m run…Also lettered in cross country.

Born April 5, 2001, in Kansas City, Missouri…Daughter of Marcus and Jennifer…Has one younger sibling, Ryland…Her dad is her hero (“I’m just really proud of him and everything that he has done in his life and for our family”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Fundamentals of Ecology, taught by Donald Miller…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “The beautiful campus and the friendly people”…Her greatest sports moment was learning how to hurdle after high school and running in her first hurdles race …The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is opening an Etsy shop to sell her jewelry…Has learned by competing in track & field that “when you feel like you can’t go anymore, you’re really only half way done!”…Enjoys hiking and being in nature with her dog when she has some free time…Says making jewelry is her biggest non-sport talent…At the top of her bucket list: “To see orca whales in the wild”…Best advice ever received came from her art teacher: “Have no expectations. I think it helps you go into new situations with an open mind”… Majoring in biological sciences…Plans a career in wildlife biology.
