They stayed by our side supporting our dreams to play collegiate sports and I am so thankful for them”)…Chose to attend Chico State “because of the beautiful campus and the good energy that I felt on my visit with the team”…Her greatest sports moment was “getting a pole vault personal best in high school with my entire family there to witness”…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is being the first in her family to go to college…Has learned from competing in track & field “that is you don’t take risks, you may never see the outcome you want. Taking risks helps you grow and improve as a person”…Enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and reading when she has some free time…At the top of her bucket list: “I want to go skydiving”...Best advice she’s ever received came from her parents:: “You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take”…Majoring in legal studies…Plans to pursue a career as a paralegal (“until I decide if I want to go to law school”).
