- She chose Chico State because of the strong team environment created by Coach Gary Towne and the women’s cross country program, where teammates support and push each other to succeed.
- Her greatest sports moment so far was qualifying for the CIF State Meet at the Central Coast Section Championships, where she gave everything in the final kilometer and crossed the finish line into her father’s arms.
