Second year in the Wildcats’ program…Pre-Chico Days: A 2020 graduate of California High School in San Ramon…Earned three varsity letters with the Grizzlies…Earned Second Team All-East Bay Athletic League and Third Team North Coast Section honors as a senior…Served as team captain in her final prep season…Also lettered in cross country and track…Personal: Born May 18, 2002, in Akron, Ohio…Daughter of Darrin and Kristi…Has one older sister, Sydney, who she considers her hero (“I look up to her in more ways than she will ever know. She has taught me how to persevere through all of life’s challenges and she encourages me to step outside of my comfort zone so I can push myself”)…The person she most admires in the sports world is American pro soccer player Rose Lavelle (“I love being able to see how creative she is on the ball and her amazing ability to break through so many lines of defense”)…Her favorite course at Chico State is Child Development, taught by Valerie Singleton…Why she chose to attend Chico State: “I love the people, the atmosphere, the soccer team, and also the nursing program!”…Her greatest sports moment is scoring in her first varsity game, while playing alongside her sister, who was a senior on the team…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is surf many of the north coast beaches in California…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is running a whole cross country race with only one shoe and then receiving a medal…Has learned by playing soccer that “you are your own biggest competitor and you must continue to push yourself each and every day in order to reach your true potential”…Enjoys reading, drinking coffee, and listening to podcasts when she has some free time…Ranks surfing as one of her biggest talents…Loves to draw and paint when she gets the chance…At the top of her bucket list: “Surfing, scuba diving, and ziplining in Hawaii”…Best advice ever received she attributes to ultramarathon runner and author David Goggins: “You are in danger of living a life so comfortable and soft, that you will die without ever realizing your true potential”…Majoring in pre-nursing…Plans on becoming a travel nurse with her sister and traveling all around the world with her.
