Second year in the Wildcats’ program…Pre-Chico Days: A 2020 graduate of Union High School in Camas, Washington…Earned four varsity letters…Helped lead the Titans to the 2019–20 4A Greater St. Helen’s League title…Twice earned First Team All-4A GSHL honors…Clark County Columbian First Team All-Region selection as a senior…Served as team captain as a senior…Personal: Born February 27, 2002, in Portland, Oregon…Daughter of LaMont and Kira…Has two sisters, Makayla and Maya…Her parents are her heroes (“They have always supported me throughout my academic and athletic career. They continue to push, challenge me, and keep me focused to be the best young woman I can be”)…The person she most admires in the sports world is Serena Williams (“She not only is one of the best tennis players in the world, but also has beat racial and gender barriers to achieve her success. I truly admire her for using her platform, voice, and work ethic to make an impact and be a role model to women of color”)…Favorite course at Chico State is Introduction to Sociology, taught by Alexandra Kokkinakis…Chose to attend Chico State “because I fell in love with the environment here. The campus is beautiful, and the team atmosphere my teammates and coach Kim bring to the table was exactly what I wanted. Along with the amazing nursing program”…Her greatest sports moment was beating a rival high school team to win the league title…The most interesting thing she’s ever done is go snorkeling in Hawaii…The most impressive thing she’s ever accomplished is “getting a scholarship to continue my academic and soccer career here at Chico State”…Has learned by playing soccer “how to be a team player, even outside of sports.
